I've got a cold-fluey thing happening. Pardon the expression, but I feel like crap...
I'll spare you the details other than to say, wherever there is an exit from my body,
things are flowing out.
The MS is raging, I can't see very well, walking is damn near impossible, spasms wreak my body, pain and discomfort are the flavours of this day.
I'm totally p'd off. I was going to go out and about this weekend. Walk along the lake shore, breathe the crisp winter air, and take photos. Ah well, I can still snap photos from the window. We are in the midst of a winter storm, and the birds are heading to our trees to hunker down til it's over. I guess I'll be hunkering down this weekend too
I can at least rest in the comfort that "this too will pass", the sooner, the better. Until it does, I'll take it all in stride...but not without a heck of a lot of whining and whinging.
A very weak...Cheers!

Just like that beautiful bird in the photo, I believe you are still standing tall in the wind. Sorry to hear that you will miss the plans this weekend and feel better soon.

Thanks Anne. I actually felt much better today, and got out and about for a bit.
DeleteSo sorry you're ailing, Karen. I know people around here are coming down with it, too. I just try to avoid people getting too close to me, and I'm washing my hands like crazy! Get well quickly!!
ReplyDeletePeace,
Muff
Thanks Muff. I caught it from Beep. She picks up everything at scool.

ReplyDeleteThanks Judy. The artistic me is hard to keep down.
DeleteLately I have been staying inside so I hope not to catch whatever is going around. I am sorry for your misery. This kind of illness is REALLY tough on those of us who don't walk very well or fast, I know.
ReplyDeleteThat is one lovely bird in your tree. I wish we had cardinals in the Pacific Northwest.
Get well soon.
Thanks Webster. I stay in a lot, my granddaughter brought it to me. LOL
DeleteOh, ouch. Sorry you are feeling poorly. Hope you are on the mend very soon!

Thanks, yes it's a male cardinal.
DeleteI know you have a lot to deal with...and now a cold. I agree with Judy, hard to keep the artistic you down
ReplyDeleteThe artistic me is the fodder for my soul, and that cannot be quashed.
