The tooth extraction went well.
It was really quick, and I didn't feel a thing...yesterday.
Thing is, today I am in pain agony, and swollen and bruised. I look somewhat like this...
well, just the cheek part.
I can barely open my mouth because my jaw refuses to unhinge. I also can't bend forward without feeling like my left sinus cavity will fall out. A heating pad alleviates the pain, but causes more swelling, the ice pack takes down the swelling but aggravates the pain. I am not taking pain killers, I am allergic to most, even codeine, so I am toughing it out with Tylenol. No worries, later this evening I know I will be feeling no pain as I consume the bottle of Champagne that the tooth fairy left me! Hey...did you know that the tooth fairy has a beard and goes by the name Alan?
Ah well, in a few days I'll be as good as new. In the meantime I may even drop a couple of pounds from being on a liquid diet.

I am sorry you are experiencing such discomfort. Teeth extractions are horrible. I hope you feel better soon.
